Scrip is a great way to make money for your student's indivual account.  Each studen from 7th to 12th grade who is involve in any music program can have an individual account.  The money earned in this account can be used to help pay for lessons, cosutmes, band fees, etc.  you must have paid the buyout fee for the current year or be actively participating in the other Tempo Club fund-raisers (e.g. magazine sales, power cards) to use the money in your individual account.  The requested amount must be music releated and approved by a director.  *You must use an Authorization for Payment or Transfer of Funds Form to request payment. 

What is Scrip?  Scrip is a company where you purchase gift cards of your choic.  A $25 gift card has a $25 value, and your student gets a percentage credited in tehir indivudal acocunt (percentages vary by merchant).  For example: If you purchase an Applebee's gift card for $25, you receive a gift card witha  avalue of $25 and 8% or $2 goes into your student's indivual account.  Purchase a Max & Erma's gift card and earn 13%.  This can add up over time.  You can use scrip to purchase everyday expense like food, closhting, gas and other essentials and with every purchase you earn revenue for your child.

How do I get started? To get started, you need to send an email message to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with your student's name, grade, phone number and what group they are involved in (ie. Marching Band, Show Choirs, Orchestra).  We will send out a new updated Excel spreadsheet at the beginning of each month listing the current merchants and percentages as the list and percentages change frequently.  Save the spreadsheet to your computer, make your selections, save the spreadsheet and email it back to us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it by the 15th of the month.  You also need to have the money to us by the 15th of the month  Please make checks payable to the Fairfield Temp Club.  You can mail the payment to us or drop it off at our home.  After all the checks have cleared, we will place the order.  There is a $1 shipping /Handling fee taken out of each order to cover the cost of shipping.  We will send out an e-mail after the orders have been sorted so you can pick them up. 

Decide what you need next month like gas, figt cards, and where you might eat, and then place your order.  We also encourage you to get family, friends, and co-workers involved.  Gather up everyone's orders and cominbe them into one order.  This is one fundraiser that they get to pick what they will use and they get 100% of their money back.
